Within view of the emerging Elbphilharmonie, the festival ‘Akkordeonist!’ is taking place at the Reeperbahn for an entire week, from 13th to 20th February 2010. It brings together everything that music makes you feel - while squeezing and pulling key and button accordions, bandoneóns, concertinas and more.
Everything that creeps and flies is now at Wandsbek Quarree - Hamburg’s largest mobile insect exhibition is opening its doors. From 8th to 20th February 2010, more than 1,000 living crawl, creep and flight creatures will be scrimmaging through the shopping centre.

On 14th November 2009, Horst Janssen would have turned 80. Like the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe, the Hamburger Kunsthalle is honouring this outstanding draughtsman with an exhibition: The Art of Friendship. Running till 11th April 2010, the exhibition focuses on Horst Janssen’s years-long friendship with two of his collectors.
